John Etheridge is a legend among guitarists - the leading British jazz guitarist of his generation. He has had an extraordinarily distinguished career, ranging from playing with Soft Machine to touring as the guitarist with Stephane Grapelli’s quartet. Virtuoso violinist Chris Garrick is widely recognized as the foremost jazz violinist in Britain and one of the leading players on the world scene. He has toured with Cleo Laine, Angelo Debarre, Julian Joseph and recorded with artists including Van Morrison, Luka Bloom and Brian Ferry. Chris and John interpret jazz, folk, world and rock music by composers as diverse as Duke Ellington, Paul McCartney, , Pat Metheny and Richard Thompson. Armed with both acoustic and electric instruments these two virtuoso soloists generate tonal tapestries which enchant and mesmerise.
